Public Information Office
At a glance
What this office does
If you have read a City of Burbank news release, watched a Council meeting from your couch, or seen the City post about a street closure, this is the office that did it. It is led by Jonathan Jones, the City's Communications Manager.
Three jobs, really: get City news out, answer the press, and run the government access channel. It is meant to be the first place you look for what the City is actually saying — not the tenth.
